Main components:

LLDPE: It serves as the base resin, providing good toughness, tensile strength, and puncture resistance. Commonly used grades are C4, C6, and C8. C8 and mLLDPE (Metallocene – Catalyzed Linear Low – Density Polyethylene) have better performance (in terms of tensile strength, toughness, and transparency).

Other components:

VLDPE (Very Low – Density Polyethylene): Sometimes added to increase flexibility and tackiness. Tackifier: It imparts self – adhesiveness (static adhesiveness) to the surface of the stretch film, preventing sliding and retraction between film layers.

PIB: It is the most commonly used, with good effects, but there is a migration problem (affecting long-term adhesive stability and transparency).

EVA: Its tackifying effect is not as good as that of PIB, but it has less migration and good transparency. Other additives: Such as slip agents (to reduce friction), anti-blocking agents (to prevent film roll adhesion), antistatic agents, color masterbatches (for producing colored films), etc.
