Polycarbonate, referred to as PC, is colorless and transparent, with excellent heat aging resistance, impact resistance and excellent insulation properties.

Polymethyl methacrylate, referred to as PMMA, also known as acrylic or plexiglass. High transparency, easy to machine, often used as a substitute for glass.

PMMA board (Acrylic board/GPPS board)：

Application of product: common PMMA plate is mainly used in the field of advertisement, decoration, art ware, escutcheon, and specimen, etc; the electroplated plate is used for a plastic mirror; a Light panel is used for ultra lightbox, flat panel display lamp of LED, poster stand and advertising decoration, etc. The LCD panel can be used for the display of computers and television. Light diffusers are widely used in liquid crystal display, LED lighting and imaging display systems. By adding a light diffusing agent to the base of PMMA, PC, PS, PP, and other substrates or adjusting the micro-feature structure on the surface of the substrate, the incident light is sufficiently scattered to achieve a softer and evenly distributed irradiation effect.

As one of the diffuser plates, the PS diffuser plate has a specific gravity of about 1.05, which is lighter than other PMMA, PC, etc., is relatively inexpensive, and occupies a large proportion of the market. It is suitable for the LED lighting field of direct-type backlights, such as flat panel lights, downlights, grille light masks, advertising light boxes, and professional viewing lights, usually used in conjunction with light guide plates. PC/PMMA is relatively high-end, with better toughness and more outdoor use.

In addition, because of the excellent characteristics of PC/PMMA/PS, such as good light transmission, aging resistance, impact resistance, strong flame retardancy, good thermoforming performance, and good sound insulation, it is also widely used in the lighting part of the construction industry. And awnings, telephone booths, advertising signs, advertising displays, high-end decorative materials for doors and windows, and noise barriers in noisy environments.
