Tips for stopping the casting machine

1. Record the various rated parameters on the computer screen and check them before starting the computer next time. If any differences are found, please input them according to the recorded data.

2. After the power is turned off, thoroughly clean the dust on the electrical components inside the electric control box, focusing on cleaning the inverter, speed regulator and PLC. You can use compressed air to blow air inside the components, but there should be no moisture. Tighten loose cables and wire joints; check the cable insulation. Aged or poorly contacted components need to be replaced in time.

3. Check whether the grease fittings on the front and rear of the main motor are replaced and added with grease, and whether the plum blossom pad of the coupling is damaged. Check whether there is any abnormal noise in the reduction box, and fill and replace the gear oil in the reduction box.

Shutdown maintenance

4. Clean the waterways and drain the accumulated water in the water inlet and outlet systems to prevent the cold winter from bursting the pipes.

5. Protect and seal the die opening, and wrap the rollers for protection to prevent collisions.

6. Check the moving parts of each equipment for adequate lubrication. In particular, parts such as screws, rollers, bearings, guide posts, etc. that run frequently must be prevented from being stuck due to excessively low temperatures, thus affecting normal production. Bearings, cardan shafts, etc. need to be lubricated regularly.

7. Check and calibrate instruments that display pressure, current, voltage, temperature, etc.; check the heating condition of each heating element and replace damaged heating and sensing elements.

8. Clean the filter barrel, dust bag, etc. of the feeding system.

9. After the air supply is stopped, check that all rubber rollers are in a non-pressed state to prevent deformation of the roller surface.

10. Before starting the machine next time, please use a multimeter to measure whether there is a short circuit between the three-phase wires and between the three-phase wires and the ground to prevent mice from chewing the wires and causing short circuits.
