What Is a Precision Coating Unit?
The Precision Coating Unit is an integrated coating system designed to apply a highly uniform layer of functional materials to continuous substrates with exceptional thickness accuracy and process stability. Combining precision coating technology with advanced tension control, unwinding and rewinding systems, drying equipment and intelligent automation, it delivers consistent coating quality in high-speed industrial production.
Unlike conventional coating equipment, a precision coating unit provides accurate control over coating weight, width and thickness, making it ideal for manufacturing products requiring micron-level precision. Depending on the application, the unit can be equipped with slot die, comma, gravure, or micro gravure coating technologies, among others, to accommodate different materials and production requirements.
